My sister-n-law just purchased an Dell Inspirion 531 S computer, I went to hook up a router ,nowhere to connect it, I believe there is some kind of Wi-Fi set up using a card, I would be grateful for any info.

From the pic I see online of this pc, it looks like there is an Ethernet jack above the orange sound card jack.

u want to connect wireless or wired....?

for wired as katzdvd said, for wireless u need wifi pci card

All I could find were telephone jacks.The ethernet cable would not fit.

that's not a phone jack

the jack is right next to the usb in the back above the sound

this is where ur NIC is located..... next to usb ports, above audio ports
