DVD SHRINK and Nero 9

I am trying to back up one of my DVD's. I just switched to Nero 9 from Nero 6.

When I try to play the back up DVD, it starts with around only 10 minutes left in the Movie. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Post your burning log please. In the meantime, read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.

Try using ImgBurn (in Build mode if need be) instead of Nero.

And wow, Nero 9? I couldn't stand 7 when it came out... I can't believe they're still making them! Nero 6 was the best one of all, IMHO

I tried it with IMG Burn. But do not have the correct verison of (blank) to do it with.

What brand of DVD's are you using.

Maxell...I have been using them for a while without issue.

I also have a new PC, and it is running Vista. I put Nero 6 back on, and I guess the compatibility issues won't allow it to work.

ImgBurn works with project files or ISOs. It's very easy - it doesnt need to be called from a transcoder.

Change your blanks to Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. Check your DMA and update your firmware, if necessary.
