Why is it when I run some video files through Cyberlink Power Producer and burn to DVD, I get a border around the screen? This is will full-framed video so far. This only happens sometimes, not always. I'm in the UK under R2 PAL and some video files are under R1 NTSC. I get a message appearing when an NTSC video is going through where some picture differences can occur. I changed my Power Producer to NTSC to make things compatable and it never worked. I went back to PAL and the same. I tried different file types when I was producing, I tried MPEG1 for the full frame and it came out with a border through NTSC and PAL and the same when I produced through MPEG2 (that's used for wide screen) with NTSC and PAL and the same problem.
Also, when I get this border, it alters the picture shape a bit where a letter "O" can be oval-shaped when it's not from the AVI file. The "O" is a simple circle in the AVI files but when I produce to MPEG1 or MPEG2 for tranfering to DVD, that is when the simple-circled "O" is oval shaped in my DVD copies. Yes, I'm doing this from AVI files. Some friends sent me some of their camcorder footage and I like it and I want to put them on DVD for keeps where of course, it's better to watch it on the TV than the PC. So far things are going wrong as I mentioned. By the way, the picture quality itself is DVD quality. It's only the black borner and the slight different shape of the picture quality that ruins it all so far.
Please help me.
Many thanks.
