Can you tell me why when I rip a DVD I cannot get the menu at the beginning of it like on a DVD player or when I play it from my DVD-ROM? The menu I am talking about is on all DVD movies it contains play, special features, subtitles, and other. When I did get it, I could not click on them like normal. Thanks for any help.

Try Nero to burn the vcd.
look in the settings to make a menu. -
It depends on how you ripped it. Did you extract the audio/video into an AVI/MPG and then burn it to a vcd, or did you rip the full dvd and then re-burn the entire thing to a new DVD.
If the former, avi/mpg files don't contain the menu. They just have the audio/video. You can create a basic menu as asenna said. If the latter, then there's no reason it shouldn't be.Comment
