I have recently bouhgt a Pentavalue DVB card mainly for internet purposes ( it is basically a downlink via satellite and not back through the normall dial-up line, ie
send = dial-up, recieve = satellite ). In other words I do have a dish and a working DVB card. The following url http://www.daywalk3r.de/tutorial.htm states that it is in fact possible to capture the braodcasted mpeg2 stream and then safe it to disk. From there I should manage but thing is I don't know how or what software to use to capture this stream. My supplied software is only for internet.
