    I agree, but back when I had dazzle, set-top recorders where $300+ range.

      Yep, same here.

      But now you can get them at Wal-Mart or somewhere for like $60. LOL

      I still have a PC card - only it's a Hauppauge WinTV card, that actually does a decent job and records in mpeg 2. But for anything coming from a VHS, I always do it to DVD and not to my hard drive.

        Thanks for your help guys, I'm gonna run a few tests during the week to see if I can get this these Video conversions off the ground, I'll keep you posted if anything interesting turns out.

          My head is spinning with all the abreviations!!! Is their a VHS to digital for dummies???

          I have a HDD Sony camcorder system. Should Ijust record the VHS from the TV? I am lost, help.
