    Problem posting

    Admin,

    have a problem.
my last post on the mininova subject was cut off and nothing is posted after it..

there is no reply, link or edit buttons or "reason for editing below the post.
    it just ends....
It seems to be stuck as a 'follow up post explanation' by me after my 1st incompleted is not showing nor the following post by budreaux..... make sense?
there is nothing below the last cutoff word...
this is what I have with nothing below it...
    btw:
it's only that post and thread..
all others including this are normal with option buttons below etc..

    latest post from Mininova

    Update from Mininova staff:

    Hi there,

I thought it would be good to clear up some things:

    - Absolutely *no* data of torrent uploaders is exchanged with the 3rd party. So that means no IP address, no mail address, nothing. In fact, the 3rd party just downloads .torrents from Mininova and then does the detection. We do not share *any* info with them, and we never will.
    - I want to emphasize that this is a *limited* trial. We run this on this a few torrents/works.
    - There are lot of reasons torrents can get removed. For example, a DMCA notice, a delete by us or the moderators, an auto-delete if the torrent is not live any longer, or by this 3rd party system. We will try to think of a system where the uploader gets a message if his torrents are deleted ("torrents [NOTHING else after this other than my windows task bar....]

I've moved your post to its own thread.

The posts you made in the Mininova thread appears complete to me (there are two posts, both seem identical, both end with "Thanks! Niek (+rest of the Mininova team)").

I think I know what's wrong though. In your post, there was a <title> tag, a <reason> tag just after where you said your post got cut off - these can be interpreted by some browser as HTML tags, and cause the forum web page to stop loading, depending on which browser you are using (some handle these kinds of errors better). Normally, the forum software should convert these to non HTML tags using special code, but I don't know what happened there (it does display fine for me, in Google Chrome). In any case, I've changed the <title> and <reason> tags to [title] and [reason], which should not cause them to be mistaken for HTML code.

What I saw on the mininova post is rago88 was the last post and I could not scroll past this last sentence, Thanks! Niek (+rest of the Mininova team). There was no reply button on the left or the edit button on the right. So I do not know what has happened. I looked at the post today and the post is working fine.

                Amen Doc,

I am still on IE7 ... I keep getting alerts from Microsoft under Updates to update to IE8 ... but I repeatedly un-check that update and keep my "Bullet-Proof" IE7 (So Far ... knock on the wood).

                G!

I getting messages from Yahoo DSL that is will be better to use IE8. It will be able to down load faster. Which is a bunch of BS.
