Putting 4 hours on 1 dvd

    Greetings:

1). I rcorded a family project and its about 4 hours. I have three dvd's of the project.

2). Is it possible for me to get this three dvd's down to only ONE?

3). Can I do it with DVD Shrink?

4). If so, will it be clear or distorted. No right protect. This is a home project.

5). If kindly someone send me the steps that I wouldm use to get this onto one dvd and then I can make extra copies of the one dvd instead of having three dvd's.

Your help will be much apreciated.

    Thanks.

    Using DVD Shrink

    Greetings:

Many thanks for your reply. OK, so here is what I am going to do. I shall try out the DVD Shrink. But could someone kndly just run me through the steps. I just downloaded DVD shrink and trying to test it out. I went to some of the guides provided but could not understand the sequence or steps clearly. This is what I would like for someone to do for me:-

    A).

Step 1: OK, so I click on open and select the DVD drive which has the original DVD disk 1 that I wish to copy. OK, I have done that and saw the encoding taking place. Rather fast I must say.I placed that into a folder that I creatd on my HD.

Step 2: Now what do I do. Do I remove the Disk 1 and then insert the Disk 2 which is a continuation from Disk 1. What do I do next.

Step 3: Now I remove Disk 2 and put Disk 3 which is a continuation and final part of Disk 1. What do I do here.

B). Now what I would like for someone to do is fill in each of the steps above for me, to tell me what I should be doing.

C). In my mind I should be doing the following:

1). Open up the DVD Disk 1.
2). Copy the Disk one into a folder on my HD.
3). Remove Disk 1 and put in Disk 2. Open that up and copy into the same folder as I did Disk 1.
4). Remove Disk 2 and put in Disk 3. Open that up and copy into the same folder as Disk 1 and 2.
5). Now having all the disks copied into the same folder, I now should be able to put a new disk into the drive and then through the software copy all of the contents in the folder back onto a new disk and all three disks will then be on one new disk.

Now this is in my mind what I should be doing. Am I correct?

Is so then could someone kindly assist me as requested. I am lost otherwise with how to use the software.
Many Thanks to all who will assit me here.

      DVD Shrick

      Greetings:

1). I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Really no idea.

2). I do not even know what I have done wrong.

3). Is it a crime to shoot ones own family movies and then wanting to put them onto one disk? I see no crime in that.

4). Since you have responded this, then I do not think that this is a forum for me.

      Bye.
