Anyone know of a good Synchronizer

For Sound and Video. Some of my Avi's will start out great and fine but then the sound will not match the rest of the way and Virtual Dub isn't cutting it at all.

I need a program that will put everything together at the right FPS for me. I tried interlacing/video also didn't work.

Back up the file, try to manually fix it in Virtualdub or synchronizer.

Hello, thank for replying, I like to say I did try everything I can using Virual Dub and havn't had any luck. I even tried shew correction when interleaving in the audio tab and even went as far as uping the preload to over 1000 MS and try Fames also in the Virtual Dub. Nothing at all seems to correction this slight sound problem towards the middle of the file and to the rest of the file.

I even tried ripping the audio only and then video in two different files and then using the Virtaul Dub. I tried wave format, AC3, Mp3 and still get the same thing toward the middle and end of the file.

You could cut out the parts that have sync issues, and try to manually sync the audio and video in the software "synchronizer".

I'm sorry, I think you got me wrong, I DVD RIP and used a divx/dixf codec to do all this. I'm wondering why, there is no matter what I try, there is nothing I can do for two out 7 files that I just can't get working with the audio, with the syncronizer settings. Is there something better out there? Or do I have to Rip it all over which I did three times already and what other programs should I Guess I need to use to do this with these files?

i may be a newbie
but i believe that you are suffering from stretched video (incorrect fps))
try using a lower fps to have it fit the movie and

Thanks I'll check into this. It's at the middle and end of file. It's a pain, it's only some DVD's not all that I have this problem.

This is something That I really need to learn more about and why it happens.
