If you dowloaded the software and clicked on setup
it will make it's own folder in your c: documents.
[convertxtodvd].
you would click open the program and after it loads,
point it to where the file you want to convert.
[the green + sign on right side is where you click to bring up the .mkv file..
you need to go into settings and set your paramemters..
there is a "burn to dvd" setting in there also or if u prefer, it will end up converted to audioTS-videoTS in the convertxtodvd folder it made and you can burn using imgburn as I do.
just be sure to un-check "burn to dvd"
the help is very easy explaining how to set it all up.
takes like no time at all..Attached FilesLast edited by rago88; 11 Aug 2009, 09:30 AM.Comment

well, the file was compressed with winrar to make it quicker to download.
regardless how you get the end file on your hard drive be it winrar or winzip,
you still need to use a conversion software in order to change the movie into mpeg/ dvd files in order to burn them to blank dvd media and watch on a set top dvd player.

glad to hear.....
Great software...
Have used it to convert many types of video exstentions..
btw:
.avi movies can be played thru windows media player without conversion but if your like me,
I prefer to watch on a big screen plasma so the 40-60 minutes it takes to convert to blank media is worth it..
I'm always Amazed how a 700 megabyte avi movie file which after convertxtodvd encodes it,
becomes a 3-4 gigabyte file and yet looks awsome when done..
shows up as full screen on a 42" plasma.
I'm sure that the upscale of a good HD tv helps though..
It's all in the settings choices ..Last edited by rago88; 12 Aug 2009, 01:34 AM.Comment
