    DVD Shrink Failed to burn

Sorry I couldn't find a DVD shrink forum on the main page and wasn't sure where this question should go. I'm trying to burn using DVD shrink and it keeps saying it failed to burn giving me the following information that quite frankley makes no sense to me, any ideas?

    <PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-104> Version: 1.30
The Firmware is old. It's at 1.41 now, but that was a long time ago.
    It can be found HERE

Just for your info: It appears you have a burning problem and not a Shrink issue. Shrink is not discussed anymore since rule 19. That is why there is not a forum anymore. I am sure a moderator will make an official statement.
    Good Luck

      @ff7tifa,

Please read the forum rules. Since this is a burn issue and not one with DVD Shrink, we can allow discussion.

Sorry about that I didn't realize, the program itself led me to this forum so I thought that's where ti should go.

          Hi ff7,

I just tried downloading from Burrell's link ... works just fine ... TRY it again.

BTW, another GREAT stand-alone Burner is ImgBurn http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download then you won't have to use Shrink for Burning!

Also in this Forum there is lot of Info on how to use ImgBurn http://forum.digital-digest.com/forumdisplay.php?f=106

          G!

That is so odd. I wonder if your burner is having issues.
HERE is the link to firmwares for your drive.
              Try 1.40 and go back.
I am guessing the old firmware isn't liking your new disk's
Also in gonwk's post he suggested Imgburn. That would good to try that as well to see if you get a failed burn there as well.

              Good Luck

I downloaded 1.40 and when i tried to install it said "Model name of kernal part is not matched" My burner is dumb apparently, and i have no idea what a kernal part is.
