Hi...long time since i was last on here....i am not sure this is the right forum for it but here goes...
i have just been given 15/20 vhs videos to watch. I was/am hoping to convert them to dvd while i have them, and seem to remember thinking my own built computer might be able to do this or my new acer aspire 5920.
the home built comp has a radeon X1950GT graphics card and the acer is an x3100. both have composite video out sockets.
if i get my vhs player [i have a scart to s-vid converter] can i connect it to either computer and get it to copy the footage over.
i also have a usb tv stick as i have heard you can do similar with that.
anyone able to assist with instructions/advice etc.
if its all going to be too much trouble i may just watch and return but my friend would like them converted to dvd so now seems a good opportunity.
