Converting RF to Baseband

Hi all.

i need some help here, I need something that will with downconvert an RF tv signal to a baseband signal.

I know that there are RF demodulators out there, but they are expensive and hard to find....

I've also heard that some VCRs have a Baseband output...but i cant find one that does...

Anyone know?
