conversion from .asf or .ram or .qt to uncompressed avi

i have been long looking for a tool to decompress or convert microsoft .asf , quicktime .qt and realmedia .ram to a format that can be converted to divx
anybody know one or has any ideas ?
for now the only ideea i have is a screen capture combined with a audio capture but that is difficult and prone to huge quality loss and very lenghty

Search on say Google for RAD Video Tools - freeware MOV to AVI convertor.

And a search for EO Video - trial ware to convert Real format to AVI.

And an older version of Virtual Dub (Version 13c) can convert ASF to AVI - later versions of Virtual Dub did not support ASF format.

      Take a look at

These guides describes how to convert a video to DVD, VCD, SVCD, CVD or AVI,DivX,Xvid, ASF and more.

as far as rm files most people recommend "tinra gui" i have not tried it as i believe that anything that has to do with real media has nothing to do with computers..its pure crap...as for asf and qt..tmpg will do them both but for qt files you need the "qtreader.vfp" file in the tmpg folder.technically tmpg is supposed to read qt with the direct show multimedia file reader but mine doesnt..but thats the file that it uses to read the asf.

Screen capturing software such as Camtasia or Snag-it are typically easier to use, and provide a greater "degree" of success.

"a tool to decompress or convert microsoft .asf , quicktime .qt and realmedia .ram to a format that can be converted to divx", you can use the registered version's DVDCutter, you can get it in www.******.com
