Got a Spybot problem

I cant load it at all and when I try to re-install it I get "error connecting to server" cant update it or nothing its just wont work, the quick launch icon is there in the bottom right corner and it wont run from that either, im at a loss here.
Im running XP seeing as my Win7 Ultimate crashed and burned on me
