Howdy.
Can anyone push me in the right direction?
I'm using GraphEdit and I see a zillion filters, about many of which I don't have a clue. Dozens of filters in 'DirectShow Filters' are mysterious.
I used to have working .GRFs for viewing and ripping, but one of the filters disappeared (?!) and I'm trying to find a replacement, but I'm lost in all the filters. Some are obvious part of Windows, some I recognize as part of my video card utils, and some are part of my DSP/FX plugin. I know how to use most, but some are a mystery.
I guess what I'm looking for is a overview on filters: classes, filetypes, usage.
Some of what I seek are hinted at in the pin descriptions, but much is too cryptic to figure out.
I'm sure that many have already been down this road -- trying to hack meaning from all this. Can you give me a boost? URLs would be fine.
