    Subtitles turns my video upside down!!

    This is weird. I downloaded a movie called "Shaolin Soccer" and then downloaded subtitles for it, since the movie is in Cantonese. Anyhoo, the subtitles came with three files, "idx", "ifo" and "sub". As instructed for playing with Bsplayer, I put all 3 files in the same folder as the avi file, and then played it. Well, nothing happened with BSplayer even though it reads "Subtitles: Yes". When I manually "load subtitle" the caption now reads: "Subtitles: No".

    Anyways, when I try to play the movie on Windows Mediaplayer or MicroDVD, the video plays along with the subtitles, but the video is UPSIDE DOWN!! I've never encountered this before. When I manually load video and then the sub file, the subtitles doesn't appear.

    Does anyone know what happened and how I can fix this?

    Thanks.

    The simplest thing to do, to keep from getting frustrated, is to use the Sasami player. It has a selection which allows you to flip the video in real time for viewing.

    Let us know of your success ;>}

      I tried the sasami player, but no good. Instead, I used Direct Connect and downloaded a whole new set of the 3 files mentioned and subtitles played just fine on MicroDVd and WMP! Go figure.
