Has anybody had experience with the Pinnacle Studio Deluxe? It appears to be a new product and I'm planning to buy it.
I need a two accomplish two things
1. Capture VHS movies to a high quality video format and then write them to a DVD-R.
2. Capture high quality DVD output (or rip it from a DVD), edit, sync audio, and then output to either DV, DVD, or someother accepted format which can be played on a TV screen.
I've been trying to rip DVD's for the past few days to accomplish step 2 and well, trying to edit the ripped VOB file is a pain. I'm thinking it would be easier to capture to DV format and then just edit.
