Greetings, all.
I am toying with the idea of a car dvd system, and I'm wondering about this setup:
I bought a TFT LCD screen for my computer (12"), and I was wondering if I would kill my battery by hooking it up to my car. It uses a 12vdc AC Adapter (3.75 amps) with a max output of 24 watts. To use it, I found an RCA/SVid to VGA converter, which would also require power (6vdc). It would give me 640X480 resolution @ 60hz
In addition, I'd have to power my car stereo & the DVD unit. Would all this kill my battery/alternator? I could just buy a 5.6" screen...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Anthony
