Hi everyone.
I have a problem with Lord Of The Rings Extended DVD. The film is on 2 discs and i wanted to join them and burn the resulting single film to a dual-layer disc.
I used DVDdecrypter to rip both halves then DVDshrink to compress and remove unwanted extras. I then corrected the sectors and tested it out. The result is a single movies consisting of 2 titles. Fine so far, but when I tried to burn it I get an "Image Modified" error on it wont record.
On examining the .VOBs for the 2 titles ( VTS_1_0 to VTS_1_4 and VTS_2_1 to VTS_2_5 ) I see that ALL of the .VOBs have an ID of 1. Surely the 2nd title should have a VOB ID of 2?
I have tried everything I can with VOBedit and IFOedit to change the IDs, create new IFOs, correcting sectors etc. but nothing allows the DVD to be burnt to disc.
Thinking it might be a built-in problem with the way the programs I used were working I tried using DVDdecrypter, SmartRipper, DVDdecoder, 1Click, DVDidle, DVDshrink, DVDauthor and all combinations. Nothing works, yet the film still plays perfectly on my hard-drive.
Before anyone askes, YES I AM using a dual-layer DVD Writer.
Can anyone help?
