Home movie Advise/Help please?
Hi there Im after some advise as im a complete newbie to this field.
- Made a home movie on our mini DV camcorder over xmas
- we have a philips dvd recorder that has a little firewire hole in it the same as the mini dv camcorder so recorded all the footage to disc from that
- finalised the disc so it now plays in any dvd player
- I am wanting to show some of the footage on you tube so fmaily & friends can see
- I have no idea how to get the movie off the disc and then onto my computer
- i have nero 7 premium installed
- my computer doesnt have a firewire hole so cant go direct from that
- i was trying to use windows movie maker but i couldnt aquire straight from the disc
Can anybody give me any advise?
I have been looking around this site but it is all so confusing and I think im wanting to do something a little different to the majority.
