newbie: need help

Hi to everyone i just registered and still new around here but i'd like to ask around if anybody knows if there will be problems with a .AVI file, like its audio not being sync with its video, when downloaded via torrent.. 'cause i have a file here that is subbed in eng and i'm having problems with its audio... do you think its just faulty compression or something???

any comment will be ok... tnx...
