Recode standalone?

Love Recode, hate Showtime (indifferent on Nerovision).

Is there a way to install JUST Recode? You can do it for JUST Nero and avoid the crap that comes with package one.

Theory said it would work on Recode but it complains it is missing NeroApi. DLL. Manual copy can fix that but it then barfs with a message saying to use the NVE installer.

All I want is Nero Burning Rom and Nero Recode... nothing else. Why should Ahead care about what we install if we pay for the thing anyway?

I think that Ahead provides a product that must meet an expectation.
The package is made for it.
with regard to the versions, you would make to stop you on the version 6.3.0.17 , after (6.6.0.0), the payment is obligatory because the treatment of encoding is not more similar and the options are more attractive (encodings, burning etc...).
