Nero DVD burning error. Help

Hello there, Im a newbie to this forum and this is my 1st log, tried to post in "DVD SHRINK" area but I can't, not sure why so I just post it here if it's ok. Im trying to burn dvd movie that I just rip using DVD Shrink 3.2 using nero. After about 50% of burning it just stop and said error in burning process, My dvd Burner is SONY DRU 700A. Can anyone help me? Preciate

1. Update your firmware to VY08 - see here. Although your disk is being recognised.

2. Uninstall InCd - use the "Clean tool" - Get it here.

3. It actually appears you have a data READ error, not a write one. Does this happen often?

Hey blutach, thx for your time and reply btw this is the 1st time it happen. I try to download the new frimware VY08 and i manage to download 3kb out of it and I dont think there is any file in the zip file. but i download the vy06 instead, would this do?. uninstall incd? why? Thx

Something must be wrong that you couldn't DL the firmware. I have just DL'd it OK. Try again.

InCD has been known to conflict with the burning.

As a tip, when you burn, turn off other things that might be processor and disk intensive. It may just have been that this time something held things up. Thankfully, it was an RW.

Hey blutach, I have done what u ask and now everything is working fine, thx mate btw i still cant dl the firmware, but i did use the VY06 and its working fine. I tink i just stick with it for the time being. Anyway thx you so much for your time
