Power calibration error on Nero

Hi,

I am trying to burn some home movies that I extracted from my camcorder and used DVDD to make the Nero files. When I try to burn with Nero I get the above error. Anyone ever heard of this? and why it won't let me burn?

Wow! that was quick. I have a feeling it is the media. I just started using Fujifilm DVD-R. They are on sale at Best Buy for 40 cents a piece. Everything seemed to work just fine until I started using these.

yw. i'd be curious of the ID code being prodiscs on those, you can check in a nero log or dvd decrypter etc....go back to a good media and see how it works

Ha Ha. I just burned it successfully with a CMC Mag-E01-00 (sans Phillips) DVD that I had laying around. I looked up the crappy brand through VSO Inspector and it says it's a Fujifilm03. Didn't say anything about prodiscs....

well at least you know one type of media to keep away from
