I am using Nero Recode 2 to rip my DVD's. I have been getting sporadic results from playback. I use Recode to burn the disks which I heard isn't the best way. THe best way being to use Recode to rip the DVD and then use Burning ROM to burn the image.

Problem is, when I rip the DVD, how do I open it in Nero Burning ROM to burn? Sorry for the nOOb question...

choose DVD Files option in Nero Express and add your ripped files. It will create DVD directories and structure itself.

use a good ripping tool such as dvdfab decrypter or dvddecrypter (both free) to rip the dvd to your hard drive. use dvdshrink (free) to compress to fit on one dvd if neccessary. burn with nero as stated above
