    not again...

so, I started a thread about 2 months ago about how nero kept saying that I was using illegal discs, they were memorex DVD+R and they came in a 50-pack bundle. After meny downloads and updates I went and bought another batch, but a 25-pack this time and believe it or not, they worked. So yesterday I bought another 50 pack thinking it was just the one bundle and I get the same error that I previously had (illegal disc). So... is it at all possibkle that memorex 50-pack bundles are garbage or what?

All Memorex brand disc are unreliable, meaning you never going to know if they will work or not. The "Quality Control" of their disc, is very poor. They use very cheap dye on the disc, also they use a variety of different dye. Hence, why sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't.

while not all memorex are pure crap, i have bought spindles, 5-packs 4x, 8x of these and all are good. but anyway, when you have problems with media like you have...it's time to change brands. buy sony, TDK, maxell verbatim...something like that
