I'm using Nero Express 6 that came loaded on my PC. I use this product for backing up DVDs via DVD Shrink, Decrypter,etc.

Lately, I've also been doing a ton of mp3 editing and the other day, I got a message from the Nero Wave Editor that said something to the effect that "my MP3Pro encoding license has expired" and told me where to go to buy the permanent MP3Pro encoder at nero.com

That's it..I can no longer do any editing and save's with this Express product.

Is this also going to happen with the DVD burn module of Nero after I've burnt a certain number of DVDs as well???

You get 30 freebies before you gotta buy the licence. It won't happen with the DVD burning module.

the mp3 pro plugin costs money. you haven't purchased it, and its trial period has expired.

what i suggest you do from now on is use wave editor, and output to pcm wav instead. then use an encoder of your choice (IMO besweet in conjunction with belight is best)

drop the mp3pro, nero has no restrictions on mp3's.

i use nothing but LAME for mp3's. i don't come near nero's encoder

I use WMP10 to handle the mp3's Since I use as well to transfer songs to my K750i...

If I need something converted from any format via NeroWave editor will use the normal mp3 (I dont choose activate mp3PRO) and I have had many encodings with that also....

Pay for something other sofware on PC can do for free?? Dont thinks so....

One the same jist in between Nero, XP, UleadVideo Studio 8 all audio, video encoding/recoding is done right there... without the need of more junk on my HDD...

I burn with nero and that's all I let it do. I usually uninstall mediaplayer.
Use cooledit for wave work. Audiograbber with lame for karaoke digit...
Advancedwmawork for wma conversion. Winamp lite for mp3+g player.
Clone for all karaoke disks.
Musicmatch 7.5 full for library, tagging(re), transencoding and ripping.
I let the DJ's fool with the rest, fixing their computers is bad enough.
