    Burn At Once Disabled

A friend of mine is running Nero Recode2. Whenever she tries to copy a DVD she finds Burn At Once is greyed out (disabled). She has the proper location for the temp files to go and she has selected her DVD burner as the destination drive.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Make sure in the "Destination" drop down box that you burner is selected. (Screen Shot Below)

Thanks JMET. But if you read my post you will see that that has already been done.

Try it again like that. There is no reason why it won't work using the above setting. I tried to "re-create" the problem, and the only way I could is by not selecting a drive in the "Destination" box.

Edit: The only thing I can think of is he/she is selecting "Image Recorder" instead of their DVD burner drive.

DVDRW Drive is selected in the destination box.

mine was doing this for a while in nero 5 when I did the upgrade to 6 nero told me it was because my serial # was not a correct one to update to the new digital pack I got it to work by uninstalling it removing all the regiestry entries and reentering the correct # for 6

My friend has no issues with the serial number. She installed Nero Ultra 6 from a DVDROM she purchased at Buy.com.

Recode was working perfectly when all of a sudden burn at once became disabled. Recode now defaults to the slow analysis mode on every burn. This is a waste of time when copying a copy or any DVD when no compression is used.

Last resort would be to uninstall and reinstall Nero Recode 2.

I agree on reinstall as a last resort. I was hoping someone may have had a similar experience and found an easier fix. I think she is one major update behind. I am going to recommend installing this update. This is almost the same as a reinstall.

ItsyBitsySpidr, don't you know that it is extremely rude to steal another persons thread? If you have hardware questions, start your own thread. Don't steal mine. Besides, how do you expect anyone to find your question when it is hidden in someone else's thread?
