    I cannot burn dvd

    please try to help. i am an experienced user. bought a new burner philips and i cannot burn dvd's(cd's ok).
    never faced this problem before from my computer. here is the log:

    Check out blutach's signature re: DMA.

    Memory in use : 87 %
    high. You need to free up some memory.

    I would also check out blutach's signature re:bitsetting because you are using +R media.Please tell us your media ID & how much room you have on your hard drive.That is about all I can help with for now.

          the computer is indeed busy with a lot of jobs. i will try to stop them
          i have 5 GB free on the hard disk

                no just wondering, yours is latest for the philips line, that's a benq 1640
                rebadged, quite a burner! But it didn't seem to identify your media?

                I'd unload the virtual drive, and check out the jumper setting on the burner,
                it looks like it's set to slave and on the cable by itself?
