Nero Burning ROM

I last used DVD Decrypter, Nero Recode 2, and Nero Burning ROM, last November. I have not updated Decrypter, but none of the DVDs I'm burning have the SONY encryption.

Now I find I'm having difficulty at the part where I run Nero Burning ROM. I get the instruction to "insert the original disc", I insert the rented DVD, and I get the error message: "This DVD is copy protected and cannot be read." Copying rented DVD's is illegal,so you probably won't find much help for your problem.
