    plz help!!Nero Burning issues "error reading data"

    im new to this whole forum thingy but recently my nero 6 has been acting up. When burnign a DVD after it reaches about 30% done the burn fails and it gives an error message saying "error readign data" ive burned well over 20 DVD and ive never had a problem, can somone please tell me whats wrong, the logfile is also included.

      Welcome to the forum. Check for Nero update. Use better media. Slow down burn speed to 2X or 4X and:

              judging from the hard drive you might not even have usb2 on that laptop?

                  chewy im using a external usb burner, and since ive posted my problem ive burned 3 other DVD's and no problems, but for some reason it gives me the error when im recoding mr & mrs smith. do you have any other ideas as to what the problem could be?

                              What region are you? When I searched "Mrs Smith", a lot of Accross protection came up. Did you or have you ever used the wizard? I am wondering if this is an encyption problem?

                                  hey guys i got it to work finally, i disabled some of those startup programs and lowered the burn speed and that still did'nt work. so what i did i ripped the movie using DVD decripter then i recoded the files using nero then it burned perfectly. i really appreaciate you guys posting back and helping me
