Iso File Sound Problem

I have a movie that is an iso file done with dvd decrypter but it is to big to fit on a 4.7gb disc and needs shrinking so i used isobuster to extract the files so i could send them through nero recode 2 which works fine but when i put the movie onto disc and play it back through my surround sound dvd player the five point one surround sound is not working correctly the voices on the film come out of all speakers when they should just be coming out of the centre speaker the rest of the sound seems to be where it should be does anyone have any idea what is causing this problem advice would be much appreciated

From what I know, Recode does nothing to the audio. I also know that DVD Shrink has a Ctrl-I to get the DVD imported directly from the ISO. I thought Recode also had that feature.

In any event, you can mount the ISO as a virtual drive with Daemon Tools and if necessary, copy the files to a new project folder.

You would also do well to check your player's settings. As well, you might wanna demux the audio from the movie and listen to each channel. It might be made that way.

Cheers mate i did not know about the control i tip and the same goes for me as far as i know recode does nothing to the audio which is why i cant understand what has happened the settings on my player are fine for some reason something has gone wrong with the audio but it seems to be only the voices everthing else sounds the way it should i backed up a dvd as i do normally using recode and region css straight after i had this sound problem and everything was spot on
