Just got an ipod and am trying to send movies to it. I've reformatted them to mpeg4 using Nero Recode. I then play them using Nero and they look fine, but when I export it to itunes so that I can send it to the ipod, it comes out all distorted. This happens when I play it in itunes as well as playing on the ipod. Since it plays fine directly from the hard drive, something happens when I export it to itunes.
Any idea how to fix this?
Also, is there another way to send movies to an ipod without using itunes? Figured since the file was fine on my hard drive, maybe it would work if I skipped the itunes step all together.
