    Neroaactag

    Hello gurus,
Although I'm not sure this is the right place to ask, i did not find place better than here.
I'm playing with neroaactag.exe. trying to add cover file, but it gives me an error.
I better enclose excerpt of what's going on in the CLI:

    C:\>c:\aac\neroaactag.exe ndaac050.mp4 -add-cover:front:mazas.jpg

    * Package build date: May 26 2006 *

    ************************************************** ***********
    Processing file: "ndaac050.mp4"
Could not open cover art file

All files are in the same directory.
    I can modify metadata though.
All this game is for curiosity now, but if I succedd, I will see what usefull it can be for me.

    Thanks

and there is no official support (aka forum) regarding this or other Nero digital products (

did a quick test, it works here...

        Code:
        neroaactag audio.mp4 -add-cover:front:folder.jpg
the error "Could not open cover art file" seems to occur when the path or file name/extension are incorrect.

Perhaps I have either to move everything to root folder or show full path. for me it is c:\AAC\ndaactag.exe, c:\AAC\mazas.jpg
          Will check it afternoon

Yes. It works now. Says "updating mp4 file..."
BTW, please forgive me for taking things from reverse side, but how can I watch these covers?
Is it possible to see it in software players or kinda iPod only? I usually use VLC player, but can easily switch to any other.

itunes and some portable devices can. embedding cover art in files for PC playback isn't needed or recommended, they're just bloat. most software players will display covers if you place the image in the same folder as the tracks and name it "folder.jpg", including windows media player, foobar2k and winamp; all of which are more suited for audio than VLC
