Audio broken in Flask audio player

I don't know if this is a common problem, but it's a really strange one.

After years of succesful encoding with Flask 0.6, suddenly it refuses to process the audio the proper way: even Flask's audio player (without any encoding) brings back broken and skipping audio with any VOBs I throw to it, but just in certain regions of the film. Other zones play OK. I've tried several DVDs with identical results.

Of course, the VOBs play fine outside Flask, so it isn't a ripping problem.

Any idea of what it's happening?

    Thanks.

i am having this problem as well.
although i have only had it occur when ripping disney movies.
i have actually heard something about disney dvds and not ripping properly.
also, there is some download available to fix the problem.
if anyone out there knows what i am talking about, please help us.

I suggest you try a different audio extraction method. This one here should give better audio quality to Flask, in addition to giving you more versatility in the process:
      1. Extract audio to .wav using Graphedit or Vob2audio
      2. Amplify the volume of the .wav file using a sound editor, such as Cooledit. As a general guide, around 150-200% volume amplification is needed.
      3. Convert the .wav to .mp3 using an mp3 encoder, such as LAME
      4. Mux the .mp3 with the video you have created in Flask using nandub
