No Sync Cutting Avi Files Divx4.11

I MUST CUT AN AVI FILE CREATED FROM FLAKMPEG 0.6 AND DIVX 4.11 CODEC (2-PASS ENCODING).

WITH PREVIOUS VER. OF FLASKMPEG AND DIVX 3.11 I USED AVI CHOP AND RUN WELL.

NOW IF I USE AVICHOP (ALSO NEW VERSION) IT DON'T SPLIT (AFTER FIRST SPLIT EXIT WITH ERROR, AND ALSO THE only one FILE CREATED IS OUT OF SYNC).
using virtual dub i can split but i have problems of synch , also tryng to change rate conversion or interleaving.

What can i do ?

service pack 2 build 2195

I started having this same problem with AVIChop after installing WinXP. AVIChop would crash out after the first segment. I don't know about sync problems, I never bothered watching it. On WinXP there is an option to run programs in Compatibility mode. I simply ran AVIChop in Win98/Me compatibility mode, and now it works fine. I don't know whether the same function exists in Win2000, but that's all I can think of!
