    Xmpeg and ra-codec

    Need help please. Tom's Hardware Guide just post that if one incorporate ra-codec into plug-in for XMpeg, one can bring MP3 encoding of the video file to 320Kbits instead of just 56Kbits limits with the Xmpeg encoder. How do one plug-in ra-codec into XMpeg?

    One obtains the Radium (really a modified version of the Fraunhoefer MP3) codec and simply follows the included instructions for installation. Once installed on your system, it will be available for your use under XMPEG.

    Let us know of your success ;>}

        I don't know where you've obtained the Radium package, so I can't guess why you're having a problem. Perhaps the easiest way for you to successfully install it is to download and install the original DivX v.3.11 package, which automatically installs the Radium MP3 codec.
