avi defreezer messed up

    avi defreezer messed up

    ok.. i started out wiht a 3 mb file.. i opened up avi defreezer and put in the bad frames.. clicked on add frames. clicked in defreeze... the new file was 300 mb and when i played it it was extremely choppy.. can anyone help me to use this program?? thx

      First, make sure that the frames you enter into AviDefreezer aren't just the bad frames itself... The program needs a good complete frame to start and end with. And a good complete frame would be.... keyframes.

      1) find the first bad frame (I use VirtualDub to do this)

      2) Click Previous Keyframe to go to the keyframe before the bad frames.

      3) Use that keyframe as your start frame number for AVIDefreezer

      4) Then click Next Keyframe which most likely is the next good frame after the corrupted section of the video.

      5) Use that keyframe as your ending frame number in AVIDefreezer

      6) Repeat as often as needed for any bad sections in your video.

      7) Defreeze it.
