    DivX no sound


    I use DivX to watch movies that I've downloaded. I have downloaded one recently that's really giving me a headache. The picture quality is among the best I've ever seen but I can't get any sound. I opened it in GSpot and it gives the following info:
    GSpot has found that Moonlight Odio DeKoda audio codec will compress this audio format. Direct Show was UNABLE to render movie overall however. See the Direct Show details for more information.
    Okay, I don't have any idea what Direct Show is or where to look at it for more information. Might anyone have some suggestions for me.
    Running Windows 98 se
    Any other info needed, please post or preferably email me.

    install the nimo codec pack. Do a custom installation and make sure you don't check a file of a similar name, e.g.
    intervideo ac3 decoder and the standard .62b ac3 decoder. only get one of the two, or however many there are.
