How YA
I want to cut my AVI file into two using Virtual dub I checked out 'Cutting Avi Files' and as expected the audio
was out. The audio would come first and then the moving of lips ie out of synch
I then tried to fix the audio synch. I seleted the 'direct stream copy on the video and
audio & got the frame rates A was 25.000fps and B 25.002 so C is .0002
Then I went to the last frame and the total time of the movie was 1:53:17.680, this is T
Converted to seconds this is 6797.68 seconds
From the "Video" menu, I selected "Select Range" & Disabled the "Offset audio to maintain A/V
sync" option.
So going by the formula C * T / A * 1000
.002*6797.68/25 * 1000 = 543.8144
I put this in the 'Start offset' and then saved the avi
The end result came out even worse....???
Is there something I am doing wrong or any tips ??
