    Virtualdub capturing prob

I've been capturing with virtual dub, and during playback there are lines that keep showing up??
Here's a pick to show what I mean

I have tried a couple of settings with no success. The lines where much worse than that at first, I read a post or article which said to instal tsunami filter pack rather than the nimo so thats what I did and the lines where reduced significantly after that.

It may be a setting that I am overlooking or something???
When I use the ati player for capturing there where no more lines visable after uninstaling the nimo pack.

    Any suggestions are welcomed

    TIA

There's 2 reasons why I don't want to use the ATI, main reason are the file size are so freakin big (file can be a fraction of the size in DivX) unless there is a configuration that will make it smaller, and I prefer having my captures in DivX.

It's also to know why this is happening and where the problem is.
I have tried converting using Virtualdub but the audio always ends up out of synch and I get a few error messages every now and then.

The image you've provided may be indicative of:

          1) The need to clean the heads of your VCR

          2) A poor quality (or worn) videotape
