Output File Location For VDUB

i cant seem to figure out where the file is supposed to go after it is done encoding.. that is what its doing correct? because there is not output file location.... is is just altering the existing file... and not creating a new one?

the "save as avi" in the file dropdown menu is where you enter
the name and choose the location to stor your avi.

it is also the method to start an encoding and fixing process
always enter a new name for your new file!!!

okay yeah i just tryed that.. but i also just read your other post and i have the mpeg running now should i stop it

thats what ive more or less got going on right now.. but its an mpeg...... am i gonna have to redownload the file?

no.

by the way if you still have the vcd try to do the following.

put it in your cd drive then browse it.

refer to the mpeg folder or to the mpeg folder or to the mpeg av
folder.

in there you should find a file named either
Avseq01.mpg or
Avseq01.avi or
Avseq01.dat.

this depends on with what tool the vcd has been created.

Just drag and drop this file to your hard disk

check it with windvd or power dvd or a player of your choice if it is still out of sync.

and then please tell me exactly what you want to do with this file!!!
