Hi there. I am trying to burn a DVD out of two AVI files. Of course, there would be no problem if the two AVI files didn't have any overlap . But they do. I tried to cut with VirtualDub, but of course, it will only cut at key frames, leaving me with ~ 2sec of overlap, or ~2 secs out.
I know how to re-sync the video properly, as I am going to re-encode the movie with TMPGEnc, I can start the encoding anywhere in the input file.
The problem I have now is how to sync up the audio stream. Of course, there would be no problem if it was an MP3 soundtrack , as I would have to re-encode it with TMPGEnc, I would use the same trick. But no, I have an AC3 soundtrack, and I intend to keep it that way.
So my question is: Does VirtualDub cut at the nearest Key Frame when "Save WAV" is selected, or does it do that only for "Save AVI" ?
If no, does anyone know about any software that could help me over there?
