Besides TMPGEnc.. what can i use?

I read a couple previous posts and I know the best way to burn a vcd with a avi file is to convert it with tmpgenc right? but the problem is, my trial date for tmpgenc expired so it doesn't work anymore (even when i reinstalled it to try again) I don't have any good program to convert now. When I burn a avi to a vcd with Nero, the video is upside down even though when I play it on my windows media player, it's normal.

I have two files of the video though, one in avi format and the other in ogm. I tried to convert the ogm into a avi/mpg with graphedit but then the video ended up with no subtitles and would probably be upside down if I tried to burn it to a vcd.

Is there a different program besides TMPGEnc to convert?

TmpgEnc is a freeware, it cannot be expired, unless ur using plus version that has mpeg2 codec that expires after some time, or some plus trial version. search for Tmpgenc not plus if ur just encoing to vcd that is mpeg1 not mpeg2 for svcd/dvd.

oh well here's the link for free TmpgEnc.....

Thanks for the help! I got it to work. But now the rest of my files are ogm format and I tried the website you gave me but the problem is that I got how to convert to an ogm to an avi but the subtitles didn't show up. Is there a way to add in the subtitles b/c I don't have any .sub files with the ogm file so I'm not sure how to import it in...

I've added a attachment photo of the files I have with the ogm file. yeah I'm somewhat of a teen newb to all this but I'm learning
