codecs

wich codecs are the codecs that i need, to playback my .avi files?
I have so many now: ace mega codec pack, tsunami, nimo50build9beta1, xvid_install 2, divxpro511, wm9codecs!!!!!!

The newest movies won't playback, are there more codecs that i need?

Careful you don't go overboard with codecs!
G Spot is always a good faultfinder. Load a problem file in and check out the file information or post here.

Do as sfheath says. More isn't always better. I would and do use only divx and xvid (Koiepi's build) and WM 9 codecs, unless I absolutely have a reason to install something else. I learned this the hard way.
