make avi with Subtitles

I translated some subtitles in my language and i want to save the video with subtitles built in. (without using micro-dvd)

is there a programm wich can do that ?

Virtual Dub doesn't accept the File - how can i use the filters (after install) - there is no change after i installed vobsub

help...
