    Menu creation for Divx files

    Hi

This is my first post so if this topic has been brought up before, I apologise.
I have a number of Divx film clips that I want to copy to DVD. I have a Divx DVD player so I will not have to convert them into DVD files.
My question is.....what software will allow me to create a menu for the film clips and save out in normal AVI format, not DVD format.

    Many thanks

None. The player puts out it's own menu, and cannot "read" any sort of divx menu.

Thanks reboot for the prompt reply. I guess that will save me lots of time although I was looking forward to creating some colouful menus.

One last thing, is it possible to have a splash screen that loads first before showing the 'standard' dvd player menu?

      Thanks again for your help.

Sure. Within DVD spec, you can do tons of stuff, including custom menus of all sorts.
Take a look at these two:

        392k divx avi http://members.shaw.ca/videojunk/menu2.avi
