VirtualDub & Codec5 Problems

I have problem with VirtualDub149 and my divx5. Simply... the Vdub display black screen when i press the play button!! Instead, the playa and the WIndows media player display perfect video screen and audio. But obviously, i need Vdub to cut & join my divx. THis problem affects the AviUtls too. Help me

hmm
i use the same and mine runs fine.
reinstall vdub and c if that helps, get the latest version maybe

vdub is a cool prog but it gives u hassles now and then, but i wont bitch bout my probs now
