virtualDUB adding new audio to video-file

    hi,
    first excuse my bad english.

i've tried to add a new audioline to an existing video-file. the video is in english and the audio-file is in german, so it should be able to snychronize these two files. to manage this problem i use virtualDUB. first i changed the fps of the video so it matches with the audio (from 23.xxx to 25.xxx).second i serached in both files a moment when a door is beeing closed and added 2 sconds at the begining of the audio file so the events in both files are at the same moment. sometimes only the door slam fits and sometimes not. before and after the door slam the video an audio are not synchron. i don't know how to manage this problem. the video files ist the second part of a movie, the first part was easy to synchronize but the second won't work.
do i have to start a frame server or do i need a guide in fps?

    can anyone help.
    thanks

Don't increase the framerate that much. The video will play much too fast and the audio can't be in sync. You should only speed up/slow down the video in little steps of 0.1 fps or less.
    don't trust in guides

if i don't raise the fps so mutch the video-file ist mutch to long. eg. with fps 23.xx it is 01h:15m:xxs. the audio file ist 1h:09m:xxs. to get both to the same lengh i have to raise the fps to 25.xxx.
